Pentax DA* 300 mm f/4 ED [IF] SDM is a professional telephoto reporter lens designed for Pentax SLR cameras with APS-C sensor. SMC DA* 300mm f/4 ED (IF) SDM is a new series of DA lenses*,cooperating only with part-frame Pentax SLR cameras that have an APS-C matrix. The focal length equivalent is 450 mm (with APS-C SLR camera),and the field of view is 5.4 degrees. The lens is adapted to work in all conditions, has an extensive gasket system that perfectly protects the lens from dust, moisture. SP (Super Protect) coating applied to the front lens, protects against contamination and facilitates cleaning. The lens is equipped with an ultrasonic SDM motor that is designed to focus quickly, precisely and quietly. The Quick-Shift Focus System allows for a seamless transition to manual sharpening, without changing the operating mode.
