The optical system consists of 9 elements in 8 groups, including two ultra-low dispersion elements. Thanks to this, you can expect a well-corrected chromatic aberration. The minimum focusing distance is 0,3 m. The lens aperture can be closed to a maximum of f/22.

The lens is equipped with an STM stepper autofocus motor with the option of manual microcorrection. The housing standard for Yongnuo is made of plastic, which translates into a very low lens weight - 145 g.

Its construction consists of 9 lenses in 8 groups, with two elements being ED (low-dispersion).
