1. Is synthetic rope better than steel?
Yes, the synthetic rope is lighter, does not twist and is safer in the event of a break – it does not "shoot" like steel. Requires an aluminum slide guide (included). The wire rope is cheaper and more resistant to mechanical damage.
2. What kind of battery is needed for this winch?
Recommended battery with starting current min. 650 A CCA and efficient alternator. With heavy use, it is worth considering an additional auxiliary battery.
3. How to install a winch in a vehicle?
You need a dedicated mounting plate or bumper with space for the winch (standard screw spacing 254×114 mm). Electrical installation: connection to the battery via included cables and relay. Detailed assembly instructions included.
