GPIO output expander module based on the popular MCP23017 chip. Allows you to easily expand the number of microcontroller input/output pins (e.g. Arduino, Raspberry Pi, STM32, ESP32) with 16 additional digital ports using the I2C bus. The device allows you to configure each of the pins independently as an input or output, and also offers support for interrupts and built-in pull-up resistors.

• 16 programmable I/O ports: Divided into two 8-bit ports (GPA and GPB).
• I2C communication: It uses only 2 signal lines (SDA and SCL) of the microcontroller.
• Adjustable I2C address: Three address pins (A0, A1, A2) allow you to connect up to 8 such modules to one I2C bus (which gives a total of 128 additional I/O ports).
