On your phone turn on Bluetooth, connect to the Internet. Download the latest version of the "Google Location Center" app.
Turn on MiTag. Wait until a pop-up window with MiTag appears on the phone screen, click "Connect".
If you missed a pop-up:
- Open Settings/Google/All Services.
- Click “Devices” in the “Connected Devices and Sharing” section.
- Turn on “Search for devices nearby”.
- Click MiTag in the list of detected devices and follow the on-screen instructions.
✅Simple installation:
- Connect your locator to the app
- Using a screwdriver, unscrew the four screws and open the housing
- Place the locator in the housing and tighten the screws
- Remove the protective films and glue the locator to the selected item
