Standard equipment

• STIHL M-Tronic (FT)

  The electronic engine management system precisely regulates the ignition timing in each rpm range and doses the right amount of fuel depending on temperature, npm and fuel quality. This means that only one position on the switch is required to start the saw.

• Decompression valve

  The decompression valve allows some of the compressed mixture to be removed from the cylinder during start-up. This significantly reduces the force needed to pull the starter cord, relieves the operator of the device and protects the entire starting system of the device.

• Long-life air filter system

  The long-life air filter system significantly extends the service intervals between filter cleanings. Larger and heavier particles are thrown outwards by the centrifugal force, and then additionally thrown upwards by the ascending ramp. Pre-cleaned air is fed to the air filter.

• STIHL 2-MIX engine

  The STIHL two-stroke engine with 2-MIX technology delivers plenty of power while saving fuel up to 20% compared to similarly powerful STIHL two-stroke engines without 2-MIX technology. Exhaust emissions decrease by approx. 50%.

• NUT WITH PROTECTION AGAINST LOST

• Capacity-regulated oil pump

• Four-channel STIHL technology

  The fuel-air mixture is swirled in the four passageways before ignition. This ensures better fuel combustion and significantly increases the efficiency of the engine. The result: lower fuel consumption and high torque over a wide rev range.

• COMPENSATOR

  Cleaning the filter becomes necessary only when the engine power drops significantly. The STIHL compensator located in the carburetor ensures that the engine power, exhaust gas content and fuel consumption remain constant despite the increase in air filter contamination. In this way, it is possible to work longer without the need for servicing.

• SIDE CHAIN TENSIONER

  The tensioner screw is turned by a special knob passing through the cover of the chainsaw drive sprocket. This avoids hand contact with the sharp saw chain and the teeth of the stop bumper.

• STIHL Ematic-System

  The STIHL Ematic system consists of the Ematic guide bar, the Oilomatic saw chain and the oil pump with or without flow control. reduction of the amount of pumped oil. • Practical tank cap

  Special patented fuel and oil tank caps. Tanks of mechanical devices equipped with such plugs can be quickly opened and closed - without the use of force and any tools.

• HD2 filter

  The new HD2 filter is made of polyethylene and has up to 70% finer pores compared to fleece or polyamide filters, which in practice means filtering the smallest particles of impurities. The new filter is also waterproof, does not absorb oil and is easy to clean. The round filter cartridge can be removed without tools.
