Aria2 uses the mature, patented structure of the MOONDROP dynamic transducer, providing accurate sound presentation and extensive dynamic characteristics with low distortion thanks to a special, large, dynamic, symmetrical long stroke magnetic circuit and acoustic cavity resonance control system. Aria2 effortlessly achieves exceptional front-end linearity.
Completely new spherical dome membrane with ceramic coating
Improved flat treble extension and natural high resolution
Aria2 uses a newly developed composite dome membrane with TiN coating, developed by MOONDROP. Two-stage processing of three materials allows for a smooth reaction in high tones, exceeding the characteristics of the metal-coated membrane, and a very low level of distortion, lower than in the case of other membranes with crystalline coating. It provides excellent detail and treble stretch, without any graininess or roughness.
Alloy cast, precision milled housing
The Aria2 housing is manufactured using alloy casting and CNC milling. In addition, it is secured with customized screws to eliminate damage caused by adhesive aging or failure under the influence of external force. The all-new CMF design contributes to a captivatingly fresh look.
Brass CNC milled acoustic nozzle
The Aria 2 nozzle consists of a separate brass CNC milled element, with a gold-plated surface that provides greater precision and density, and thus, a beautiful color.
Replaceable acoustic nozzle
Aria2 includes a new generation of interchangeable acoustic filters. The front end of the brass nozzle consists of a removable tip that allows users to quickly and conveniently replace the acoustic filter.
Replacement is much easier compared to existing multi-layer filters, and the design provides greater reliability. In case of clogging or damage, the replacement cost is much lower than that of standard nozzles.
Highly efficient pressure vent design
The Aria2 pressure hole uses a completely new, non-central redirection structure to effectively counteract the negative impact of sound due to the proximity of the auricle.
Combination of scientific theory and subjective listening experience
Aria2 is meticulously tuned by experienced acoustic engineers and exhibits an excellent frequency response curve consistent with the VDSF target response. Composite membrane with ceramic dome provides a natural, open, delicate and very accurate color.
MOONDROP VDSF Target Response is a head-related transfer function (HRTF) B&K HATS frequency response target curve under diffusion conditions and ideal room preference curve. The closer the frequency response curve measured within B&K HATS is to the target frequency response curve, the better the headphones can reproduce the soundstage image in terms of frequency characteristics.
Reproduction of subtle details with very low nonlinear distortion
Aria2 offers a non-linear full frequency distortion of less than 0,05%, resulting in natural color and reproduction of even the most subtle details.
Replaceable 0,78 mm cable design with 2 pins
Aria2 uses a universal replaceable cable with a 0,78 mm termination, allowing users to exchange cable or accessories (such as the MOONDROP Littlewhite Bluetooth or FreeDSP neckband) depending on their usage scenarios.
To make it easier for users to better match devices to extract the reference sound quality of Aria2, a newly designed cable with replaceable plugs has appeared. The Aria2 cable is made of silver-plated copper and braided in the Litz structure, and its plugs are newly designed, replaceable screw-type plugs that have both great design and practicality of use.
