The NVR-108MH-D is an 8-channel IP recorder from the HiLook series, designed for use in IP CCTV surveillance systems. Hikvision's HiLook products offer advanced functionality and reliability at an affordable price, making them innovative solutions for CCTV monitoring.

HiLook/Hikvision surveillance systems can be controlled, configured, and operated using the intuitive HikConnect/HiLook App for smartphones and tablets, and the iVMS-4200 software for PCs. This gives the user constant control and supervision over the monitored area from anywhere in the world with internet access. The app and software allow you to:

• View live video
• Remotely play back recordings
• Create motion detection scenarios and rules
• Control PTZ (Pan, Tilt, Zoom) cameras
• Receive notifications about events within the system

The app uses the P2P cloud for operation, so the system does not need forwarded ports on the router.

The recorder supports the motion detection function from network cameras. This function allows you to send instant notifications to the user (in the app or software) when changes are detected in the camera image. It also allows you to search recordings for detected motion in the area protected by monitoring.

The HiLook IP recorder is equipped with an efficient image compression standard, designated H.265. This standard is a direct successor to the popular H.264 technology and allows for almost double the bandwidth load. This translates into significant space saving on the hard disk and extending the archiving time of recordings on the disk.
