Aqara works with Apple HomeKit and Aqara Home
You can use both the Aqara Home app for Android and iOS. The Aqara Hub M1S can act as a HomeKit bridge, which means that most ZigBee devices connected to the Aqara Hub M1S are visible in the Apple HomeKit DOM app.
Aqara Gateway communicates with Aqara devices via ZigBee protocol:

Voice control with Siri
You can control Aqara accessories with Siri on your iPhone, iPad, Apple Watch, or HomePod. Just say “Siri, I’m home” and the lights can automatically turn on for you.
The lights are on when the room is occupied, the lights are off when no one is home.
When motion is detected in the evening, the hub light automatically turns on.

Advanced technology
Aqara Hub adopts one chassis and uses NXP i.MX6 processor, 256 MB DRAM, 256 MB flash memory and MFi chip. It has two built-in high gain antennas. Thanks to the FR-4 plate with a ventilated base with a large surface area, ventilation ensures airflow from front to back, increasing heat dissipation and ensuring reliability during operation.
No installation required, commissioning in 3 simple steps:
- Connect the hub to the power supply.
- Open the Mi Home app, tap “+” in the top right corner to add Hub.
- After successfully adding the hub, add the remaining Aqara accessories that will automatically appear
