The gateway is the control center for all ZigBee-enabled devices in the smart home. The ZigBee gateway connects many smart devices, such as:

FUNCTIONS

Red indicator: Wi-Fi status indicator

Blue indicator: ZigBee status indicator

Red Fixed Light: Wi-Fi connection works normally, the gateway is connected to the phone app in Wi-fi mode.

Red flashing light: No Wi-Fi connection.

Permanent blue light: No ZigBee device has been added to the gateway.

Blue flashing light: The gateway is in connection mode (searches for ZigBee devices nearby).

Light off: ZigBee devices are added to the ZigBee gateway and can be controlled.

Press the RESET button to reset.

Once you install the TUYAsmart app on your smartphone and connect to the product, you can control them using our home WiFi network. A smartphone with the TUYA application running must be connected to a WiFi network. WIFI SMART LED series products automatically establish a connection to the wireless network. Through the TUYA application, we can control many functions: light color, amount of light (dimming), color change and scenes in the case of RGB products. We can also program automatic on and off. All functions can be controlled from anywhere in the world, provided that our smartphone has access to the Internet and the controlled product is within range of the home Wi-Fi network.

ASSEMBLY

Before installing the device in the selected place, check the range of your home Wi-Fi network and read the instructions. Assembly diagram: see illustrations at the end of the manual. Installation consists only in connecting the gate to the power supply via the included USB cable and power supply.

INSTALLATION

Download and install the Tuya Smart app from Google Play (for Android) or the App Store (for iOS). Run it and follow the steps in the app.

You can also install the app by scanning QR codes (located at the end of the manual).

After installing the Tuya Smart app, start it and connect it to the ZigBee gateway:

• Click “+” in the upper right corner.
• Search for “Gateway control” and select “Gateway zigbee” from the list of devices.
• Select the Wi-Fi network and enter the password, click “next”.
• Make sure the blue light on the front of the gate flashes quickly.
• Wait a few seconds until the process reaches 100%, which means that the gateway has been added.
• When connecting a gateway, the phone and gateway should be within range of the same 2,4GHz Wi-Fi network. If difficulties arise, press and hold the RESET button for approx. 5 seconds to reset the gate. Then repeat the above steps.
