Is the specified power aggregate for all sockets, or can it be achieved on a single port when charging a single device?

In powerbanks, the power given applies to a specific port, unless the specification indicates otherwise.

This means that maximum power can usually be obtained on a single socket when charging one device.

When several devices are connected to the powerbank at the same time, the available power is divided between ports and the total value may be lower.

Detailed values for each port and for multiport charging are always given in the product specification.

Does the powerbank meet the standards for taking it on an airplane?

Yes — powerbank can be taken on an aircraft as long as it falls within the limits set by IATA (International Air Transport Association).

The most important rules:

• powerbank must be carried only in hand luggage (cabin).

• its capacity expressed in Wh determines its approval:

o up to 100 Wh – permitted without permission of the airline (usually up to approx. 27 000 mAh),

o 100 – 160 Wh – possible transport, but requires the consent of the carrier (corresponds to approx. 27 000 – 43 000 mAh),

with more than 160 Wh – powerbanks cannot be transported by plane.

Information about the capacity of Wh can be found in the product specification – it determines whether the powerbank is within the limits.

Can you charge the powerbank and the device connected to it at the same time?

Yes – powerbank supports pass-through function, i.e. it allows simultaneous charging of the powerbank itself and the device connected to its port.

This feature is available on all Allity powerbanks.

Is charging a laptop with a powerbank time-limited (e.g. by temperature limits), does it last until the powerbank is completely discharged?

The laptop will be charged until the powerbank is completely discharged.

The exception is situations in which built-in electronic security will work, for example, with too high temperature of the laptop or the powerbank itself. Then charging can be automatically slowed down or interrupted to protect your devices.

What is the length and power of the included cable?

As standard, our powerbanks are accompanied by a USB-C – USB-C cable with a length of 30 cm and a power of 20 W.

The exception is the 130 W model, which in the set has a USB-C cable with a length of 1 m and a power of 100 W, made in braided braid.

Is the USB-C port in this powerbank only input and the USB-A port only output?

• USB-C: IN/OUT – used for both charging the powerbank and devices.

• USB-A: OUT – used only for charging devices.

• microUSB: IN – additional input for charging the powerbank.

Model APB-200

• USB-C (main): IN/OUT – charging the powerbank and charging devices.

How long is the 130W powerbank capable of charging a laptop?

The charging time of a laptop with a powerbank of 130 W depends on the power consumption of a particular model.

Ultrabooks usually charge 40 to 65 W, and powerful laptops 80 to 100 W and above.

Indicatively:

• laptops with a consumption of 45 to 60 W – approx. 1,5 – 2,5 hours of operation charged from the powerbank,

• laptops with a consumption of 80 – 100 W – approx. 1 to 1,5 hours.

It is worth remembering that:

• laptop turned off or in sleep mode will be charged longer,

• during intensive work (e.g. gaming) the laptop can draw so much power that the time of effective charging will be reduced.

These are approximate values – the actual time depends on the laptop model and its current load.

Can you connect devices that require less power (W) than the maximum power of the powerbank to the powerbank?

Yes – the powerbank can be easily connected to devices with lower power requirements.

Powerbank automatically selects the appropriate charging parameters, so it will only provide as much as the device is able to download.

There is no risk of overloading – devices negotiate power according to USB standards.

In addition, with low-power devices, the powerbank lasts longer.

Does the powerbank discharge automatically when not in use?

Yes – each powerbank discharges slightly automatically, even when not in use.

This is a normal phenomenon related to the properties of lithium cells and the operation of electronics inside the device.

The typical rate of self-discharge is about 2 to 10% per month, depending on the temperature and charge level.

Storing a powerbank at high temperature can speed up the process.

How long can I store my powerbank without charging?

Powerbank can be safely stored without charging for about 2 to 3 months, provided that it is set aside in the right conditions.

Best storage rules:

• charging: 50 to 60%,

• temperature: 15 to 25°C,

• dry place, without moisture and without access to heat sources,

• Avoid direct sun.

Important:

Do not store the powerbank completely discharged – this can lead to deep discharge and permanent damage to the cells.

If the powerbank has been stored longer, it is worth charging it again before use.
