Great possibilities in a small housing

An inverter, also called an inverter or inverter, is a device whose task is to change the DC voltage from a car battery or cigarette lighter socket to an alternating current ~230V. Exactly the same voltage is found in every home socket (Type F) throughout Europe. The inverter is an excellent choice for those going on a trip by car, motorhome or truck - thanks to it you will be able to freely use all the necessary devices that require an outlet to operate.

Thoughtful design

The device has been designed to make the use as comfortable as possible. The front of the converter is equipped with two power sockets adapted to plugs used throughout Europe and a USB port, thanks to which we will charge our smartphone, ebook reader and any other device with the ability to connect via USB port.

On the back of the inverter there are two fans ensuring proper cooling of the device.

The whole was enclosed in a small, yet very durable housing. It is made of high quality aluminum so that resistant to any mechanical damage and shocks during travel. In addition, thanks to the materials used, the converter is very light.

Parameters that matter

When looking for a converter, pay attention to parameters such as [V] voltage and [W] power. This is crucial, because choosing a converter with a bad input voltage or too low power will not allow our devices to work.

Voltage

The first parameter to be determined is the voltage of our battery, which should be fully compatible with the one given on the converter. The most common voltage value is 12V, found in passenger cars, motorhomes and some trucks

Power

After selecting the voltage, you should decide what power of the converter will be appropriate. It has a key aspect, because informs us how many and what devices it is able to supply with electricity. If we want to connect the selected device to the inverter, we need to check on the rating plate what power it draws (if you want to connect more devices, the power should be added up). The power consumed by your device should not exceed 85% of the rated power of the converter! For example, for a laptop with a power consumption of 100W and a heater with a power consumption of 300W, the appropriate converter will be the one with a power of 500W and more.

Installation

The converter for proper operation requires free air circulation. Do not cover the ventilation openings in the housing - this may cause overheating of the device and its incorrect operation or damage. In order to connect the device, connect to the battery or cigarette lighter socket in the car first black cable (minus) and then red (plus) and tighten the screws thoroughly. Starting the converter will occur after pressing the main switch button.
