The Sone temperature and humidity sensor is the perfect solution for people who want to easily control the conditions in their surroundings – no matter where they are. Thanks to Wi-Fi connectivity and cooperation with the Tuya or Smart Life application, you always have all your data at hand – on your smartphone.

The device allows not only for current temperature and humidity readings, but also allows you to set your own alarm thresholds, track measurement history and create automation within a smart home. The LCD screen provides a clear overview of the most important information, while the battery power supply (3xAAA) gives you complete freedom of installation.

Remote readings and compact size

The TUYA Sone WiFi temperature and humidity sensor allows you to control the conditions in the room from anywhere in the world – all you need is access to the Internet. Thanks to the integration with the Tuya or Smart Life application, you can check the temperature, humidity and battery leveli on the screen of your smartphone at any time. In addition, the device allows you to generate a measurement report and send it to an email in Excel format.

You can also create intelligent scenes and automations, e.g. Start the heating, fan or humidifier based on the sensor indications (in combination with another compatible Tuya device).

Thanks to its compact dimensions – only 65 × 62 × 25 mm, the sensor can easily fit on a shelf, windowsill or be discreetly hung on the wall. No additional gates or wires required.

On the LCD screen of the sensor, you can read the most important information without having to reach for your phone. Below is a description of the individual elements of the display:

Temperature and humidity charts and in-app preview

With the Tuya or Smart Life app, you have constant access to up-to-date and historical sensor data. On the home screen you will see the current temperature and humidity, and below – a clear chart.

There are three chart view modes: daily, monthly and annual – separately for temperature and humidity. This allows you to easily track trends and analyze changes in conditions in a given room.

If you need to keep your data, you can easily generate a report and send it to your Excel (XLSX) email address.

You can easily send data to e-mail

You can send temperature and humidity data from the Sone sensor to your e-mail address at any time. You will receive a message with an attachment in XLSX format (Excel), which allows you to conveniently view and analyze measurements.

The data are presented in a transparent table. The # sign indicates no measurement (e.g. when the device was turned off or out of Wi-Fi range).

To send a report:

1. Open the Tuya or Smart Life app.
2. Enter the sensor view - click on the chart
3. Select temperature or humidity
4. Select a day/month/year
5. Click the icon marked in the following screenshot with a red circle.
6. Enter your email address and approve.

In the absence of an email, check the "SPAM" folder.

Create smart scenes with other Tuya devices

The Sone sensor works with the Tuya and Smart Life apps, which means you can use its readings to create automatic scenes and rules for other devices in your smart home.

This allows you to set to, for example:

• turn on the heating when the temperature drops below 20°C,
• start the humidifier when the humidity drops below 40%,
• turn on the fan when the temperature exceeds 27°C,
• send a notification when the humidity rises above the set level.

Setting up scenes is quick and intuitive – just a few clicks in the app. The condition for automation is to have compatible Tuya devices, e.g. smart sockets, relays, heating controllers or air conditioners.

Advanced settings and configuration in the app

The Sone sensor offers a range of advanced settings that you can easily customize to your needs directly in the Tuya or Smart Life app. Thanks to them, you can control the way the sensor works even more accurately and the type of notifications you receive.

Available options in the "Settings" section:

• Battery level – presented both as low / medium / high and as a percentage
• Temperature unit – switchable between °C and °F
• Emergency threshold setting – you can define the minimum and maximum values for temperature (from -20°C to +60°C) and humidity (from 0% to 100%)
• Reporting frequency – set the data transfer interval for temperature and humidity separately (from 1 to 120 minutes) - To save battery, we recommend longer intervals.
• Measurement sensitivity – temperature: 0,3 – 2°C, humidity: 3 – 20%

In addition, in the and “Alarm Set” section, you can enable push notifications for:

• Low battery
• Too low or too high temperature
• Too low or too high humidity
