Raccoon Mk2 Backpack® 20L polish by Helikon-Tex is a high-quality, lightweight and durable backpack, perfect for both military and civilian tasks. Perfectly suited for tactical operations, as well as on a weekend trip.

Raccoon Mk2 is a new revised version of the popular Helikon-Tex Raccoon backpack. The main changes are improved functionality and increased durability – the main material from which the backpack was sewn is the original Cordura® 500D and proven YKK® zippers.

Cordura® – one of the most famous fabric brands in the world. The material was originally developed as artificial silk. Currently, it is most often made of polyamide with polyurethane coating and Teflon finish. Cordura® is lightweight yet very durable, resistant to abrasion, tearing and weather conditions. It is used for the production of backpacks, bags, hiking equipment, clothing, footwear, etc. It is also the most commonly used fabric for all kinds of military equipment.

YKK – a world leader in the production of zippers, latches and buttons. The products of this company are manufactured according to very strict quality standards, which is why they are characterized by extreme precision and durability.

The model has one large packing compartment with wide convenient access, fastened with a double-sided zipper. The compartment has 2 internal pockets: 1 back, open, with elastic edge, e.g. for tablet or hydration system and 1 front for small items, made of mesh and closed with a zipper. The main compartment also has a hole that allows you to remove the tube from the bottle, headphone cable or communication system. There is a drainage hole at the bottom.

On the front of the backpack there is a pocket with wide access, similar in size to the main compartment. The pocket is also fastened with a double-sided zipper, and has a drainage hole at the bottom. Inside the pocket there is a practical organizer, which consists of: a Velcro pocket, an open pocket, a small mesh pocket, Velcro closure, two compartments for pens and a rotating carabiner for keys.

The back part uses absorbing soft foam filling and covering with MESH 3D mesh, thanks to which excess heat and moisture are dissipated.

Anatomically contoured shoulder straps also have a soft filling and a breathable MESH 3D mesh hem. Their supporting part consists of strong webbing with the possibility of length adjustment, equipped with D-Rings and solid buckles. The harness can be fastened together with a chest strap, which has adjustable length and position and an elastic tension tape.

The hip belt has a solid buckle, length adjustment and option to detach from the backpack.

The ends of the straps have Velcro straps, thanks to which the excess when rolled up can be conveniently fixed.

The suitcase holder allows you to comfortably carry the backpack in your hand.

The slides of all locks are equipped with handles to facilitate the use of locks even with thick gloves.

The front and sides are trimmed with MOLLE/PALS webbing, allowing you to attach additional elements of equipment, such as bags or pouches.

On the front there is also a Shock cord – an elastic cord with a stopwatch, which allows for quick attachment, e.g. jackets, ponchos or mats.

Placed on the sides and bottom of the compensation belts allow you to adjust the size of the backpack to the transported load and attach additional equipment. The upper straps are fastened with buckles.

On the front there is a Velcro panel Velcro for attaching badges and emblems.

Functional and reliable, equipped with practical pockets, closed with zippers, having a convenient carrying system, the perfect backpack for everyday wear (EDC - Everyday Carry). Small dimensions, low weight and stable fastening on the back make the Raccoon Mk2 backpack perfect also for cycling tourism.
