Description of the Model

A true icon of long-distance racing and one of the most legendary track monsters in history – the Mazda 787B. This car was the first Japanese vehicle in the history of motorsport and the only structure powered by a naturally aspirated four-rotor Wankel engine (R26B), which won the murderous 24h Le Mans race in 1991. This unique miniature from Mattel was released as part of the prestigious Hot Wheels Premium line addressed to adult collectors, being part of the highly anticipated Car Culture: Hammer Drop series. It offers the highest standard of finish for this scale, characterized by the Metal/Metal construction and the iconic Real Riders wheels.

• Dark, minimalist painting: Unlike the classic, motley colors of Charge Renown, this version looks extremely raw and predatory. The body is covered with matte, deep black lacquer (Satin/Matte Black), on which minimalist, white mazda logos on the hood and sides are distinguished, complemented by small technical emblems.
• Premium construction (Metal/Metal): Both the aerodynamic body and chassis of the miniature are entirely made of metal (die-cast), which provides the model with the right weight, durability and perfect balance.
• Authentic Real Riders wheels: The model moves on two-piece wheels with real rubber tires with a smooth, racing profile (sliki). They were stretched over iconic six-spoke rims in deep, dark gold/brown with a clearly marked chrome rim.
• Masterful aerodynamics of Group C: Hot Wheels designers precisely reproduced the extremely low, streamlined silhouette of the legendary Group C car – from the wide front belt with built-in headlights, through the central driver’s cabin, to the monumental, integrated rear spoiler with red sides (endplates).
