Nanny BM-02 is a certified medical device that monitors baby's breathing and is suitable for babies weighing a minimum of 1 kg. Its main goal is early signaling a decrease in breathing frequency in a child and warning of the potential risk of respiratory arrest. The device performs a functionality test every time it is turned on, which means it cannot turn itself off. The nanny works in a non-contact manner, without emitting any radiation and without restricting the baby's movements.

It is a medical monitor with the largest sensory plate area on the market, has been approved by European health institutes and is classified as a class II b medical device (certificate No 93/42/EC). Nanny is a product of the Czech company Jablotron specializing in monitoring breathing in a child.

Every time the child breathes in, the green light flashes. If the child does not inhale for 20 seconds or the respiratory rate drops below 8 breaths per minute, the red light will turn on and the alarm will sound. Often, the sound of the alarm alone is enough to wake the child from deep sleep and breathing.

Nanny calls for help, even if the child cannot ask for help himself. Moreover, it can also help in case of breath retention due to choking.
