Yes, definitely. Thanks to the high passive parameters and the built-in preamplifier from the PAC-720 series, the antenna perfectly “pulls out” weak signals where standard compact antennas or Chinese replacements cause pixelosis or complete lack of signal.

Do I need to purchase a separate power supply for the antenna to work in active mode?

The antenna can be powered by 5-12 V directly from your DVB-T2 decoder or TV (just turn on the antenna power function in the receiver menu). For older TVs without this feature, a standard external power crossover can be used (e.g. Telmor ZZA-7).

Does the antenna receive the new DVB-T2 TV standard and channels in vertical polarization (e.g. MUX-8)?
