FAQ – Frequently Asked Questions

1. Is the floodlight suitable for outdoor installation?

Yes. The floodlight has an IP65 rating, making it resistant to rain, snow and weather conditions. It will work at the house, garage, driveway, parking lot or entrance to the building.

2. Can the motion sensor be adjusted?

Yes. The PIR sensor has 3 adjustments: TIME, SENS and LUX, which allow you to set the lighting time, motion detection sensitivity and the level of light at which the lamp is to start.

3. What is the range and angle of operation of the motion sensor?

PIR sensor detects movement up to 180°. For proper operation, the recommended installation of the floodlight is at a height of about 1,8 – 2,5 m.

4. How long does the floodlight last when motion is detected?

The lighting time can be adjusted from about 10 seconds to 7 minutes, so you can adjust the operation of the lamp to the place of installation.

5. Can the lamp only turn on after dark?

Yes. LUX adjustment in the range of 3 to 2000 lx allows you to set the threshold of light intensity at which the sensor will activate the floodlight. Thanks to this, the lamp can work, e.g. only in the evening and at night.

6. Is the 4000K light cold?

No. 4000K is a neutral white light color – it works well in lighting driveways, garages, entrances, parking lots and utility spaces.

7. Is 50W and 5500 lm enough to illuminate the driveway?

Yes. The luminous flux of 5500 lm provides powerful illumination, while the wide beam angle of 120° allows you to evenly illuminate a larger space.
