PRODUCT SAFETY INFORMATION

Nino Co-Sleeper Crib

The crib is intended for children from birth to 6 months of age. The maximum permissible child weight is 9 kg. The crib complies with standard EN 1130:2019. The mattress complies with standard EN 16890:2017:A1:2021.

WARNING: Product is not suitable for children who can sit up, kneel, or pull themselves up!

WARNING: Do not use this product without reading and understanding the instructions!

WARNING: Stop using the product as soon as the child begins to push up on their hands and knees, pull themselves up, or is able to sit up unaided!

WARNING: Placing anything (additional items/equipment) in the bassinet can cause suffocation!

WARNING: Do not place the product near items/equipment that could pose a risk of strangulation or hanging, such as cords, blinds, curtains, wires, etc.

WARNING: Do not use more than one mattress in the product!

WARNING: Be aware of the risk posed by open flames and other strong heat sources, such as electric or gas heaters, etc., placed near the product!

WARNING: Use only the mattress sold with this crib; do not add a second mattress, as this poses a risk of suffocation.

The crib should be placed on a level surface.

Young children must not play unsupervised near the crib.

If leaving the child unattended, lock the crib in a stationary position and ensure the side is not lowered.

Always lock all wheels when not moving the product. Wheels must always be locked before placing the child in the bassinet!

It is recommended that all assembly fittings are always properly tightened and that no screws are loose, as a child could catch a body part or clothing on them (e.g., a cord, necklace, pacifier strap, etc.), which could cause a risk of strangulation.

If using a different mattress, ensure it is compatible with a rigid mattress base (compare with the mattress included with the product) and that the entire mattress is manufactured according to EN 16890:2017:A1:2021. Additionally, ensure the total gap between the mattress and the sides and ends of the crib does not exceed 2.5 cm, and that the mattress height does not exceed the red warning line marked inside the product. The mattress must be selected so that the internal height of the crib (measured from the top surface of the mattress to the top edge of the crib side) is at least 200 mm. At the highest bottom position of the crib – when inserted – it must be below the red warning line marked inside the product.

The manufacturer recommends using the mattress included with the product, with a thickness not exceeding 4 cm, and a mattress size perfectly matched to the crib dimensions. The maximum mattress thickness is 4 cm.

Be aware of the risk posed by burning cigarettes, open flames, and other strong heat sources, such as electric or gas heaters, etc., placed near the product. To avoid the risk of fire, do not place the crib/bassinet near open flames or other strong heat sources. Do not smoke near the product.

The maximum permissible tilt of the product is 2 levels – e.g., if the position on one leg is 4, then the permissible position on the other leg can be a minimum of 2 and a maximum of 6. The child's head must always be on the side of the mattress with the higher leg position.

CO-SLEEPER FUNCTION:

WARNING – To avoid the risk of the child's neck becoming trapped on the lowered side in co-sleeper mode (when the crib is attached to the parents' bed) – the top of the drop-down side must not be higher than the parents' mattress.

WARNING – To avoid the risk of your child suffocating – the connecting system (parents' bed to co-sleeper) must always be kept away from the crib and away from the child.

DANGER! When the crib is not attached to the parents' bed – never lower the co-sleeper side!

To use the co-sleeper function, 2 straps are required to secure the bassinet/crib to the parents' bed (part G) and buckles for mounting the straps (mounted on the frame). DO NOT USE the co-sleeper function if any part is missing, damaged, cracked, broken, or torn. The co-sleeper function can be used if the height of the parents' bed (measured from the floor) is at least 65 cm and at most 75 cm.

The co-sleeper function can only be used for beds where the mattress can be removed (this is necessary to properly attach the connecting straps between the product and the parents' bed). The mattress must not be wider than 180 cm, and the side of the mattress should be flush with the side of the bed. The parents' bed should have space underneath to allow the legs to partially slide under the bed. Do not use for beds with irregular construction or waterbeds.

Use only the connection system suggested by the manufacturer. Do not use other connection systems.

Never use the co-sleeper function with the crib in an inclined position. When adjusting the height, set the same level on both sides.

To prevent the risk of the child suffocating (if the child gets trapped between the co-sleeper and the parents' bed), the co-sleeper must be properly attached to the parents' bed using the included connection system.

There must never be a gap between the lowered side of the co-sleeper and the parents' mattress.

Before use – check the tightness of the connection between the co-sleeper and the parents' bed by pulling the co-sleeper away from the parents' bed.

If there is any gap between the co-sleeper and the parents' bed, DO NOT USE this product function.

Any gaps must not be filled with pillows, blankets, or other items.

When the child can sit up, kneel, or pull themselves up, do not continue to use the crib for that child.

Do not use the crib body without the frame.

Do not leave the child unattended.

Never move the product with the child inside. Do not change the crib height while the child is inside.

Risk of entanglement and strangulation:

• Do not place cords, cables, straps, or similar items that could wrap around the child's neck near this product.

Risk of suffocation when the child:

• Gets into the gap between the edge of the mattress and the side of the crib

• Lies face down on a soft surface

To prevent infant death, place your baby on their back to sleep or as advised by your pediatrician.

To avoid the risk of infant suffocation, remove the plastic cover from the product before use. Dispose of this packaging or keep it out of reach of children and infants.
