Our ZigBee Tuya temperature and humidity sensor with black housing with IP65 protection class allows you to monitor conditions at home and outdoors – even in places exposed to moisture or dust. Thanks to this, it will work in the gazebo, garage, greenhouse, as well as in unheated utility rooms.

Battery power gives you complete freedom of installation, and thanks to ZigBee communication, you can check current readings from anywhere in the world in the free Tuya or Smart Life application, as well as create intelligent control scenes for other devices.

Installation and pairing with the ZigBee gateway is quick and intuitive, and in addition, at any time you will generate a report on the history of measurements in XLSX format, which will be sent to your e-mail.

Note: A ZigBee gateway is required for operation.

Dimensions and installation

The sensor has compact dimensions of 73 × 27 × 24 mm, so you can easily mount it anywhere – both indoors and outdoors (under a roof). A ZigBee gateway is required to connect the device to the application!

Methods of assembly:

• Hanging on the pendant – the set includes a short pendant that allows you to conveniently hang the sensor, e.g. on a hook or nail.
• Double-sided tape – the set includes double-sided tape, allowing quick installation without the use of tools.

Thanks to the IP65 enclosure, the sensor is resistant to dust and water jets, which allows installation in places exposed to increased humidity – e.g. in the garage, greenhouse, gazebo or under the roof on the terrace.

Resistance to external conditions – protection class IP65

The sensor is placed in a sealed housing with IP65 protection class, which means full resistance to dust and protection against water jets from any direction. Thanks to this, you can safely install it in places exposed to moisture and dust – such as a gazebo, greenhouse, garage, terrace under the roof or utility rooms.

The housing not only protects electronics from weather conditions, but also allows for long-term and trouble-free operation of the device outside, even in demanding environments.

Temperature and humidity charts and in-app preview

The sensor presents real-time data and saves the measurement history, which you can conveniently view in the Tuya or Smart Life app. There are three preview modes:

• Quick view – current temperature and humidity values without going into the details of the device.
• Recent readings graph – a clear chart showing changes in the short term.
• Extended History – detailed charts broken down by day, month and year, allowing you to follow long-term trends.

With this visualization, you can easily analyze changes in indoor or outdoor conditions and create intelligent automation scenes based on this, e.g. turning on the heating when the temperature drops below the set value.

You can send temperature data to yourself by e-mail

You can export the full measurement history directly from the Tuya or Smart Life app at any time. Just enter your e-mail address – the system will automatically send a file in XLSX (Excel) format.

The file contains a clear summary of temperature and humidity measurements in the table, which allows you to:

• create your own charts in Excel or another program,
• archive data for further analysis,
• Quickly share results, e.g. service or administrator of the building.

If you do not see the message in your inbox, it is worth checking the SPAM folder – there may be an automatic response with a file.

The most popular applications:

• Heating or cooling control – e.g. Automatically turn on the furnace, heat pump or air conditioner when the temperature drops or rises to a certain level (in combination with other Tuya devices).
• Monitoring of conditions in different places – house, apartment, office, garage, greenhouse, gazebo, basement or utility rooms.

• Create smart scenes in the Tuya/Smart Life app – e.g. Starting the fan when the humidity exceeds the set value.
• Control of conditions on the plot or in the garden – thanks to the IP65 protection class, the sensor can work outdoors (under the roof) without fear of damage by dust or moisture.

Create scenes with other TUYA SMART devices

The sensor works with the Tuya / Smart Life app, which allows to create intelligent automation scenes. This allows you to set other devices to respond automatically to changes in temperature or humidity , without the need for manual operation.

Examples:

• Heating – turn on the furnace or heat pump when the temperature drops below the set level.
• Ventilation – Start the fan when the humidity exceeds a certain value.
• Irrigation – turn on the sprinkler system when the external sensor detects too low air humidity.

You can combine scenes with other Tuya devices – relays, sockets or controllers – to create a fully automated smart home system.

Settings and alarms

In the Tuya / Smart Life app, you can fully customize the sensor operation to suit your needs:

• Emergency thresholds – set the minimum and maximum temperature and humidity values separately; when they are exceeded, you will receive a push notification on your phone.
• Temperature unit – choose a convenient format: °C or °F.
• Battery status preview – you can check the current charge level at any time.
• Calibration of measurements – the possibility of correcting readings: temperature from –2 to +2 °C, humidity from –30 to +30 % to match the indications to the standard thermometer / hygrometer.
• Low battery notifications – the app will automatically notify you when batteries need to be replaced.
• The sensor automatically sends updates to the application every 60 minutes or earlier when the temperature or humidity exceeds the set alarm limit

With these features, the sensor can be easily configured for both home and professional use.
