The Messerschmitt Bf109 was the primary fighter of the Luftwaffe during World War II. The G-6 version, introduced into service in 1943, was the most numerously produced variant of this aircraft. Late cars received a modified engine cover, an improved Erla Haube cabin and a number of changes to improve combat efficiency.
The 1:48 scale model of the Tamiya faithfully reproduces the late version of the Bf109 G-6 along with the distinctive “Beule” weapon shields. The kit offers a variety of configuration options, including different types of cabin covers, open or closed engine panels, and additional under-wing armament.
