Polish Hunting Team (PFT) – Poland unit, also known as “Skalski Circus”
Polish Fighting Team was created – actually Polish Fighting Team. The team consisting of 12 pilots fighting on Supermarine Spitfire fighters in the Mk-V version (Poles later received the Spitfire of the newer version of Mk-IX), created an additional squadron C at the 145th fighter squadron RAF 244 West Desert Air Force (Western Desert Air Force) in Tunisia supporting 8th Army. Lieutenant Colonel Tadeusz Rolski became the liaison with the command, and the commander of the squadron was Captain Tadeusz Rolski. pilot Stanisław Skalski.
