The WEP 948D-III soldering station is equipped with a PID microprocessor that controls the operation of the device. Thanks to this control, the temperature is stable even with large fluctuations in heat reception, and additional functions make the work easy and very efficient.

Soldering iron built taking into account ESD standards, so you can be sure that you will not damage electronic components during service.

The WEP 948D-III 2in1 station has user-friendly features:

Possibility to set on the display in which units the temperature will be displayed.

✅ The soldering and desoldering function works independently thanks to separate control on the front panel, the flasks can also be freely detached thanks to the pin connector.

✅ Sleep function

To reduce the heating time of the flask to the set temperature, a sleep function has been added to the station, the sleep function works independently for the tip soldering iron and desoldering iron. Thanks to it, after putting the flask on the stand, it will go into sleep mode after a predetermined time (10min), and the temperature will drop to 200 degrees. After raising the flask again, it will take much less time to heat it to an earlier temperature. Thanks to this, the soldering tip wears out much slower. It is possible to disable this function.

✅ Automatic shutdown function

The soldering station goes into sleep mode to save energy, if it is not woken up from it can automatically turn off. The tip flask has a deposition sensor, thanks to which we save energy when we do not use it.

✅ Temperature correction function (calibration)

In use there are different tips, some are long and thin other short and thick, which leads to different thermal conductivity of these tips, and thus different temperatures at their tips. Here the temperature correction function comes to the rescue, thanks to which we can correct excess or shortage of temperature.
