MoFangJiaoShi Meilong 5x5x5 Magnetic Stickerless
MeiLong 5x5 is an improved magnetic version of the previous model from 2019, produced by MoFangJiaoShi. Thanks to the use of thin plastic, this is the lightest 5x5 cube available on the market. Despite the similar name, differences in mechanism are significant:
- The internal structure remained simple, relying on the two-layer structure of the bases of the corners and edges.
- MeiLong 5x5 has a much higher height of the lower layer of the bases compared to the upper layer.
- The side tabs of the middle edges are also thicker, and the bases have flat and extensive torpedoes.
- The side walls of the corners and edges have a smooth surface, and the leading edges are strongly rounded.
The cube has magnets with a size of 3x1.5 mm.
The ankle movements are very light and smooth out of the box and out. Curve cutting and stability are at a very high level with proper adjustment. Its low weight, combined with the lack of recesses affecting friction, allow greater control, especially after proper lubrication.
This is not only one of the best 5x5 versions available at an affordable price, but also one of the best on the market, especially after adding magnets.
The cube is recommended for both beginners and advanced stackers.
