The Irix 150mm f/2.8 Macro 1:1 lens is a modern and versatile macro telephoto lens designed for full-frame digital cameras. What makes the Irix 150mm f/2.8 a true macro lens is the 1:1, which is already available at a minimum distance of 0,345m. Bright f//2.8 optics allow you to shorten the exposure time,and the moderately long focal length of 150 mm provides an excellent compromise between a narrow viewing angle and a comfortable working distance in macro photography,as well as for product photography or portrait.

The lens is equipped with an aperture mechanism consisting of 11 aperture leaves with a rounded shape, which provide a gentle background blur and a round appearance of light points. High precision sharpening is ensured by a wide sharpening ring, whose rotation angle is up to 270 degrees guarantees easy and smooth sharpening. The additional Focus Lock ring allows you to lock the focus ring in a convenient position (e.g. at reproduction point 1:1).

The Irix 150mm f/2.8 Macro 1:1 is the first lens available in the new Dragonfly finish that combines the lightness and excellent ergonomics of the Firefly version with the durable magnesium housing used in the Blackstone finish.
