It is a standard macro lens that offers a 40-degree viewing angle, which is ideal for both macro photography and portrait photography. The lens hides APS-C format sensors and smaller ones. In terms of optical diagram, the lens is built with 8 lenses in 7 groups, including three of glass with a high refractive index and two of super-low dispersion, which effectively corrects optical defects and allows fine details to be rendered in macro photography with high contrast and resolution. The lens is small and light, and at the same time solidly made. The aperture has 11 rounded leaves, which generates a circular point of blurriness to the f5.6 aperture. Very nice bokeh and standard focal length make the lens, apart from macro photography, great for portrait photography. The lens is offered in a black color version.
