The Mechanic Abrasive sharpening bar is ideal for sharpening diamond discs that require such a treatment to restore cutting properties.
It has a properly selected size and strength of abrasive grains, specially selected for the best sharpening of diamond tools.
For proper sharpening, several longitudinal cuts should be made with a blunt diamond layer.
The disc for angle grinders is made cuts up to 5 mm deep,
discs for cutters up to a depth of 10 mm.
The number of intersections necessary to make depends on the degree of blunting of the diamond tool.
On average, it is 10 to 15 cuts.
The Mechanic Abrasive bar measures 250 x 50 x 25 mm.
When making the cut, the bar should be properly secured and all health and safety regulations should be observed. The bar must be firmly fixed, for example, using appropriate clamps.
