The workshop does not impose a single way of playing. The child can change the position of the elements, connect the slats with screws and nuts, mount the sprockets in different places and check which solutions work best.

If the element does not fit into the selected hole or the sprockets do not mesh properly, you can change their position and try again. Such fun encourages planning, searching for solutions and learning simple mechanical dependencies.

Screwing, unscrewing, clamping the vice, measuring, hitting with a hammer or joining parts engages your hands in different ways. One hand can stabilize the element while the other leads the tool.

Thanks to this, the game supports precision of movements, hand-eye coordination and hand dexterity, while allowing the child to imitate the activities observed in adults.

The workshop is also great for role play. The child can become a constructor, mechanic or DIYer, plan further “repairs” and invite the other person to a joint project.

The tools can be put on a shelf at the back wall, and a larger supply of parts can be stored on the capacious bottom shelf. Thanks to this, after finishing DIY, the child can independently organize his workspace.
