Short story:

Developed by American aviation company McDonnell Douglas, the F-4 Phantom II is a two-seat tandem, supersonic all-weather bomber fighter. It entered service in the sixties and is one of the most famous aircraft in the history of military aviation.

In the original design, it was designed specifically for the United States Navy, but was used by all American forces and achieved significant commercial success worldwide. The original version designed for the United States Navy was further improved in 1966 with the launch of the Phantom F-4J, characterized by the adoption of new systems capable of increasing combat capabilities in the air and ground. Avionics has been greatly improved and an innovative fire control system has been used to allow you to look down/shoot down.

With two upgraded, powerful General Electric J-79-10 jet engines, the Phantom was able to reach a top speed of 1240 knots. Speed, thrust and reliability are the strengths of the Phantom II, which were able to effectively balance the reduced maneuverability due to its large size.
