Set focus the way you want

Turn the lens knob to turn on the camera. Stop at Landscape position for photos from a greater distance, Macro for amazing close-ups or Standard Mode for all photos in between.

Colors as you like

6 color effects

INSTAX MINI 99 lets colors speak. Just turn the Color Effect knob and you get six inspiring analog color effects to give fuel to your creative freedom (this is thanks to the variable LEDs placed in four corners inside the camera). Don’t need additional color effects? No problem - just turn the knob to Normal Mode.

Exposure control

Five brightness levels

High or low tone? With the brightness control knob, the choice will always be right. For a large amount of light in the frame, choose L+, for the darkest shots choose D-. Between these extremes, you can choose L, D and N settings if you are looking for standard exposure levels.

Manual setting of the vignette

Greater depth of frame

With the Vignette Manual Setting switch, you can dim the edges of the photo to direct attention to the center of the frame. Enabling the vignette function will narrow the aperture, which will help create a strong artistic effect. Disabling this option will allow you to capture all available light in the frame and get a more natural shot.

Make every shot meaningful with the right shooting mode. Not only are they easy to switch between, but they also allow you to take photos in their true analog form.

Auto mode

With daily shooting, the flash and shutter speed will be set automatically to capture the perfect level of frame brightness.

Interior shooting mode

Bring light to photos taken in dark rooms with an indoor shooting mode that beautifully captures both the subject and the background in harmonious sharpness.

Sports Photo Mode

To limit the blurring of movement in photos, go into sports mode when you photograph objects that will not sit still for a moment, such as children, animals and all kinds of sports lovers.

Dual exposure mode

Take two separate shots and apply them to each other in one frame. This mode is perfect to tell a story in your own creative and exciting yet abstract way.

Very long exposure mode

Stop attractive streaks of light and night views in the frame. By keeping the shutter open for up to 10 seconds, the dark night time can be brought to life with light.

Self-timer

Press the shutter button, stand in front of the lens (you have approx. 10 seconds) and click! - photo taken. No one will be left out when the INSTAX MINI 99 is in action.
