A photo umbrella is the most commonly used light modifier, allowing you to maintain better control over its emission. Thanks to its construction, it is easy to assemble and disassemble, and when folded, it takes up little space in the studio or in a photo bag. The photo umbrella increases light efficiency and provides better control over light. Silver, reflective coating properly direct the light so that the photographed scene is evenly illuminated. Powerlux silver umbrellas are great for both portraits and product photography.

All mechanical elements involved in folding/unfolding the umbrella are made of metal, so that the umbrella can be folded and unfolded many times.

Color reproduction

Many commonly available fluorescent lamps are not suitable as a light source in photography. This is due to the low color rendering coefficient. Please note that it is not provided by manufacturers.

To ensure the correct color reproduction of the photographed objects, light sources with a high color rendering index - Ra should be used. The higher the value of the indicator, the better the colors are rendered (Ra=100 means perfect color rendering, while most fluorescent lamps have Ra in the range of 40-50).

Powerlux fluorescent lamps have a very high Ra=90 coefficient, which means that all photographed objects retain their natural colors.
