The electronic fence provides your dog with freedom of movement while still allowing owners to take care of them without worrying about unexpected dangers.

The principle of operation and installation of the electronic invisible d-fence are very simple, which ensures easy operation and trouble-free operation. The system consists of a generator (transmitter), a collar (receiver) and an antenna, whose role is played by an insulated cable of appropriate diameter. The installation of the cable involves digging the cable in the designated area, but the device can also work if the cable is suspended, for example on a fence. The invisible fence can be easily expanded depending on your needs.

The operation of the system consists in separating two independent zones: warning and correction, the width of which can be configured. The corrective impulse force is also adjustable, allowing you to customize it to your dog's behavior and temperament. The transmitter generates a low-voltage signal on the cable, setting the boundaries of the terrain within which the dog can move freely. The collar with the receiver receives the signal sent through the cable and, if approaching the designated border zone, first emits an intermittent beep as a warning. If the dog does not respond to the sound and crosses the border, the collar emits a corrective impulse combined with a sound signal, which is designed to teach the dog to respect the designated boundary.

The simultaneous combination of a sound signal with a corrective pulse helps to perpetuate in the dog's memory the association between sound and an unpleasant impulse. As the dog progresses in learning, the strength of the corrective impulse can be gradually reduced until it is completely turned off, leaving only an audible signal. The time needed to reach this stage is individual and depends on the temperament of the dog and the training method.

• The d-fence 202/2002 generation II version is distinguished by a new design, ergonomic shape and touch buttons that increase the comfort of use. One of the biggest advantages of this model is a spare battery, which ensures effective operation of the device for up to 16 hours in the absence of mains power.

• Compared to the previous model (101/1001), the possibility of using the system in a much larger area and adjusting the generator power was also introduced, which allows adjustment to the length of the installation and ensures better functioning of the entire set. The transmitter is factory set to fence up to 400 meters, but for longer distances, appropriate configurations are necessary.

How to make an invisible fence?

1. The DOGTRACE d-fence invisible fence system is suitable for any type of terrain, and its installation is quick and simple, requiring only basic tools. To properly install the system, the cable must be connected to the transmitter and create an uninterrupted loop – it is extremely important to avoid damaging it. The cord can be placed around the property or area you want to limit and then put it on the ground, tied to an existing fence (up to 30 cm above the ground) or buried at a depth of up to 10 cm, which will provide additional protection against damage.

2. The device can be purchased in a set with a cable thickness of 0,75 mm² and a length of 100 m, or in a version without a cable. After the arrangement of the wires, the next step is to connect them using flat connectors, which are part of the set. If there are areas in the designated area where the dog can move freely, wrap the outgoing wire around the incoming wire. This will interfere with the emission of waves in a given place, which will prevent the dog collar from reacting to approaching these areas, allowing the pet to move freely in designated zones.
