Manufacturer's recommendations

• The descaling process should be performed every 3 to 4 months or after preparation approx. 200 cups of coffee.
• The use of the agent in accordance with the instructions for operating the machine is crucial for the proper operation of the device.

Descaling instructions Nespresso (Original & Vertuo)

1. Preparation

   Turn on the machine and remove the capsule.

   Empty the drip tray and container for used capsules.

   Base the vessel (min. 1 l capacity).

2. Descaler solution

   Pour a sachet of descaling agent into the water tank and fill with water.

3. Activation of descaling mode

   Original: press Espresso + Lungo buttons simultaneously for 3 seconds.

   Vertuo: hold the power button for 7 seconds until it flashes.

4. Descale process

   Start the cycle – the whole solution will flow into the vessel.

   Pour the liquid back into the tank and repeat the pass.

5. Rinse

   Empty the tank, rinse well and fill with fresh water.

   Run the rinse cycle at least 2 times to remove any remaining product.

6. Completion

   Exit descaling mode (rehold button combinations).

   Wipe the machine and wait a few minutes before using again.
