I am a new carrier of Ergobaby ADAPT SoftTouch™ Cotton and can be used from birth. It grows with the child until about 4 years of age. I am made of soft, brushed SoftTouch™ cotton that maximizes air circulation to keep you and your baby dry and comfortable all day long. The wide hip belt with lumbar support provides optimal support for the back, making back pain a thing of the past. I carry my baby comfortably and ergonomically on your body and have already been classified as “hip healthy” by International Hip Dysplasia. My shoulder harness can be used normally or transversely so that the shoulders and neck are always optimally supported. From birth, the baby can be worn in front mode. From 6 months of age, the baby can even be worn on the hip or back. This ensures a particularly long service life.

The Ergobaby ADAPT SoftTouch™ cotton carrier provides your child with peace of mind and a basic need for closeness and safety. The correct method of wearing is very important, especially for frequent wear, as it can prevent hip damage. The Ergobaby carrier offers the M position recommended by midwives and orthopaedists, also known as the squatting position. In this position, the legs are crouched at the height of the navel and slightly spread outwards. The forward-moving hips provide rounding of the back and prevent unnecessary strain on the hips and spine.
