SOPELEK 3+ Aspirator vacuum is a medical device used to extract runny nose with the mouth or vacuum cleaner, for use from birth .

Action and application:

SOPELEK 3+ is the third, latest, improved version of SOPELKA, for use from birth. Systematic cleaning of the nose allows you to prevent or reduce upper respiratory tract infections (e.g. inflammation of the throat, middle ear, paranasal sinuses) and helps in the treatment of lower respiratory tract diseases (inflammation of the larynx, trachea, bronchitis and lungs).

Usage:

• Before the first and each subsequent use, check all the elements whether the individual elements are not damaged, then wash each element in warm water.
• Insert the disposable filter into the tip. Apply the disposable filter tip to the main cylinder of the aspirator.
• Arrange the baby in a convenient position, place the mouthpiece in your mouth, and the tip with a disposable filter in the baby's nasal opening. Gently, progressively and uniformly draw air through the mouthpiece first in one, then the other nasal formation. Remove the contaminated tip with a disposable one.
• Filter from the main cylinder. Dispose of the filter in the trash. Brew the remaining elements in hot water (about 90 degrees Celsius) for a maximum of 15 seconds. Dry all the pieces and arrange in a box.

Apply the tip to the main cylinder of the aspirator, and connect the hose to the adapter on one side and the stopper on the other. Insert the adapter into the suction pipe of the vacuum cleaner, move the vacuum cleaner to the max. distance from the child, then turn on the device. For the process of removing secretions from the nose we use vacuum cleaners with a power of 500-1800W. Arrange the child in a convenient position and gently slide the tip of the Aspirator near one, then the other nasal opening of the child (pulling should last up to 5 seconds, up-down movement). NOTE: Do not clog the reducing hole (hole) in the hose. Turn off the vacuum cleaner, remove the contaminated tip from the main cylinder, and the disposable filter from the stopper. Dispose of the filter in the trash. Evaporate the remaining elements in hot water (approx. 90°C) for a maximum of 15 seconds. The adapter and hose do not require brewing, just wash with warm water. Dry all the pieces and arrange in a box.

Notes:

• Due to the safety hole placed in the adapter stopper, the suction force of the vacuum cleaner is reduced, making the aspirator safe for use in children.
• If the nasal mucosa of the child is dried or a large amount of dense secretion is visible, apply 3-4 drops of saline or a special nasal solution of sea water to each nasal opening of the child beforehand.
• Store the Sopelek+ Aspirator in a dry and clean container (box).
• The process of pulling discharge from the baby's nose can be carried out only by an adult.
• For the extraction process, a vacuum cleaner with a maximum power of 1000 Watt can be used.
• Do not use the aspirator in case of damage to the nasal mucosa, bleeding or haemophilia.
