Descaler powder ODK-100 pack 25kg

The descaler is used to clean the internal surfaces of various installations, e.g.:

- AGD

- district heating equipment, heat exchangers JAD

- cooling circuits

- equipment in the food industry

- water and steam boilers

- boilers, coils, water heaters

- steam generators

- installations CO, water pipes

- bakery ovens, etc. having greasy deposits

- and other devices in contact with water

Dissolves stone, sediment and sludge.

Usage:

Use 1kg of the preparation per 10 liters of water for effective use of the product.

Pour the solution over the entire system, (start) and wait depending on the thickness of the sludge from 1 to 3 hours. If possible, constantly heat the water to reduce the waiting time.

After dissolving the stone, pour the solution and rinse the whole with clean water.

Factors affecting limescale deposition:

• The higher the (temporary) hardness of the water, the more stone will settle.
• The higher the pH (alkaline reaction) of water, the greater the tendency to deposit stone
• The higher the temperature to which the water is heated, the more stone will precipitate.

Sludge

It consists of iron-magnetite oxides (oxygen corrosion product) with the addition of other impurities such as e.g. released mineral deposits, sand from foundry molds.

In unprotected systems used for many years, it takes the form of a prolonged, sticky substance. It accumulates in places where there is limited water flow, in the lowest parts of the installation, mainly in the lower parts, over time limiting the flow of water more and more to completely inhibit it in extreme cases.

Under the layer of hardened sludge, subsludge corrosion may be formed, sludge may also promote the development of microbiological corrosion.
