SIGMA 135 mm F1.4 DG | Art is the only lens in the world* that combines a large 135mm focal length with up to 13 leaf aperture with a maximum aperture of F1.4. Thanks to this, it offers an incredibly large bokeh effect, unprecedented in even the best portrait lenses. Great visuals and the effect of three-dimensionality can be obtained not only in classic portrait photos, but also photographing the entire figure from a greater distance.

Excellent resolution and aberration correction

Four large FLD lenses, along with properly positioned high dispersion lenses, have been arranged to effectively eliminate longitudinal chromatic aberration, which is one of the biggest problems in high-aperture telephoto lenses. As a result, the lens provides sharp object details even at full aperture, taking full advantage of the extremely low depth of field characteristic of the 135 mm F1.4 lens. The use of the “Floating focus” system not only accelerated the operation of the AF system, but also made it possible to maintain very high image quality both when sharpening from a minimum distance and in the background.

Instant and quiet AF

The dual HLA (High-response Linear Actuator) linear drive (HLA), optimized for each of the 2 focus groups, is responsible for the rapid and quiet operation of the autofocus system in the SIGMA 135 mm F1.4 DG | Art lens. This allows you to capture even fleeting facial expressions and fast-moving objects with exceptional reliability.

Like every lens in the Art series, the Sigma 135 mm F1.4 DG | Art is distinguished not only by its high optical quality, but also by its extremely durable construction. Numerous seals protect the inside of the lens from dust and water drops*. Additionally, the front lens has a water- and grease-resistant coating, allowing for effortless shooting even in harsh environments. The lens is equipped with a removable tripod foot, compatible with the Arca-Swiss system.

* The lens is not waterproof; with high water or dust intensity, contaminants can penetrate.
