Not far after the launch of the TTArtisan 100mm F2.8 2X Macro Tilt-Shift lens, the manufacturer TTArtisan announced a new full-frame lens with a focal length of 100mm with F2.8 light. This time it will be a lens aimed at portrait and artistic photography with bubble bokeh blur “bubble” in the M42 mount.

The “bubble bokeh” effect occurs, in only some lenses available on the market. This occurs when the background of the photographed object is blurred and the light points form characteristic, round shapes resembling bubbles. This effect is due to the characteristics of the lens lenses, which focus light at points on the camera matrix, and differences in depth of field cause the points of light sources on the background to be displayed as isolated, spherical forms of different sizes.

This simple, 3-lens spherical aberration creates a characteristic bubble bokeh, consisting in the fact that blurred points of light in the background are rendered as circles with clear, bright borders. This effect has many passionate supporters in the world of portrait, nature and macro photography. Due to their iconic status, the original Trioplanes reach dizzying prices. Now with the new TTArtisan 100mm F2.8 Bubble Bokeh lens you can achieve the same effect at a reasonable price. The M42 mount allows – directly or with the right adapters – to attach the lens to most analog and digital SLR systems as well as to all mirrorless systems.
