Small lens, wide perspective

TTArtisan AF 24mm F3.8 Mini FE allows you to build a lightweight set that is easy to take with you on a walk, trip or spontaneous city photography. The housing with a diameter of about 60 mm and a length of about 16 mm takes up little space, and the weight of about 57 g almost does not increase the weight of the camera.

On a full frame, the 24 mm focal length provides a wide field of view, useful in street, landscape and architecture photography. It also allows you to take environmental portraits, where the environment is an important part of the frame. When mounted on the Sony camera, the APS-C gives a viewing angle corresponding to a focal length of about 36 mm on a full frame.

Autofocus in pancake housing

Despite its small size, the lens is equipped with a VCM autofocus engine. The manufacturer declares fast, precise and quiet focusing. Support for face and eye detection in compatible bodies makes it easy to photograph people and everyday scenes.

The minimum sharpening distance is 0,3 m, so you can shoot small objects and details while maintaining a wide perspective.

Optical design with ED and aspherical elements

The optical system consists of 6 lenses arranged in 6 groups. Two low dispersion ED elements and two aspherical elements help reduce aberrations and support detail reproduction.

The aperture is constant f/3.8. It cannot be closed or opened – exposure is regulated by exposure time and ISO sensitivity. It is a simple design for people who appreciate the small size and direct way of shooting.

Vintage design and integrated cover

The appearance of the lens refers to the classic TTArtisan design. A characteristic detail is the integrated front lens cover, opened and closed with a sliding mechanism. It allows you to secure the lens between photos without putting on a separate front cap.

The metal bayonet complements the design, and the USB-C port allows you to update the lens software. The model does not have a thread for mounting filters.
