This full-frame fixed focal length lens is available with Sony E and Nikon Z mounts. It is an excellent optics for photographers and videographers looking for lightweight, bright and compact autofocus glass for everyday use.
The TTArtisan AF 40mm F2 ED ASPH is the perfect tool for portraitists, street photographers, and vloggers who need a versatile focal length (57° viewing angle) with beautiful background blur and fast autofocus. The lens is equipped with an STM motor, which guarantees quiet, smooth and precise operation of the AF system – both when shooting and recording videos.
The advantage of the lens is a very compact design – it weighs only 167 to 176 g, and its length is only 44 to 46 mm, depending on the bayonet version. With a large F2 aperture, users can easily shoot in low light and achieve an aesthetic bokeh effect. In addition, the optical design includes ED lenses, with a high refractive index and aspherical, which translates into high sharpness and minimal chromatic aberration.
The minimum sharpening distance is only 0,4 m, which allows you to get closer to the photographed object and capture details of the face or texture. Also noteworthy is the clickable aperture ring, which allows precise and intuitive change of settings without taking your eye off the viewfinder.
Interestingly, the USB-C port for firmware updates has been placed... in the rear cap of the lens, which has a positive effect on its aesthetics – no additional ports on the tube!
