Viltrox AF 35 mm f/1.8 EVO is a modern, bright fixed focal length lens designed for full-frame mirrorless cameras with Sony E and Nikon Z mounts. It is a universal 35 mm focal length – perfectly balancing between the classic standard and a light wide angle. It works well in almost every type of photography: from portraiture and reportage, through landscape, to dynamic street frames.

The EVO series is a new line of Viltrox that introduces an optimized optical design, improved autofocus and modern coatings and aberration control – while maintaining a compact size and attractive price. The new models in this series are also designed to work great in video, with smooth focus tracking and stable AF performance in movie modes, making them a very versatile tool for creators.

The bright f/1.8 aperture allows you to shoot in low light and achieve shallow depth of field with attractive background blur, which is especially useful in portraits and creative shots. The lens combines high image quality and compact design, making it convenient for everyday use – it does not overload the set and works great on a walk, on the go or during reportage work.

The optical design of the EVO series has been clearly redesigned compared to previous generations. The system includes aspherical elements, low dispersion glasses and high refractive lenses that work together to maintain sharpness throughout the frame – even at full aperture. The lens is designed to generate high-resolution images on modern high-pixel sensors. Therefore, it works great both in the latest video bodies and in cameras with very detailed RAW recording.
