The preparation is used to clean the outer ear in cases of inflammation of the external ear canal (otitis externa).

Chlorhexidine as an excellent antiseptic eliminates gram-positive bacteria.

TRIS-EDTA damages the cell wall of gram-negative bacteria by additionally binding metal ions that can weaken the action of antibiotics.

Otodine is a specialized medicinal preparation for dogs and cats.

Composition:

Propylene glycol 10g

Chlorhexidine Digluconate 0,15%

Lactic acid with TRIS-EDTA pH 8

Water

Use and dosage:

Carefully fill the ear canal with the solution. Massage the auricle base approx. minutes to loosen the earwax. Remove the separated material with a cotton ball or gauze. Repeat until the cotton ball/gas remains clean. Thoroughly clean the folds and auricle. If necessary, repeat 1-2 times a day for at least 10 days.

Storage:

Keep out of the reach of children. Store below 35°C.

Recommendations:

For external use only in the veterinary field.

Avoid contact with eyes. In case of contact with eyes, rinse thoroughly with water.
