The PDC-OFF module is designed to disconnect the signal path (buzzer or signal input) in the wiring of the car parking sensor control panel when the trailer is connected.

The task of the PDC-OFF module is:

• switching off audible signalling or
• reverse gear switching signal inputs

in the factory installation of the control unit for rear parking sensors of the car (PDC) when the trailer connection is detected (by the main module). This module cooperates with the modules controlling the lighting of the trailer series MP and WH and is intended for installation in cars when the factory control unit for parking sensors has been located and its wiring has been correctly determined.

Short description:

The task of the PDC-OFF module is to deactivate the car parking sensor with the trailer connected.

The PDC-OFF module cooperates with trailer lighting modules equipped with an active mass output with the trailer disconnected.

The module is designed for installation in cars equipped with a towbar and parking sensor (factory or installed as an accessory).

Since in many cases the factory parking sensor cannot be controlled by disconnecting/switching on the power mass, the parking sensor is deactivated by disconnecting the selected PDC circuit, e.g.:

• Sound beacon,
• PDC power supply
• Reverse gear signal on.

Thanks to its versatility, the PDC-OFF module can be used to deactivate virtually any car parking sensor.
