Hero of the cult Polish series "Four Armories and a Dog", whose model we present in the collection. The series is well known to several generations of Poles, it was also broadcast in the countries of the former Eastern Bloc.
The "Rudy" was a Soviet T-34 tank model 1941/42. His name was earned after the Battle of Studzianki in honor of the beautiful nurse Marusia. The T-34-85 model appeared only after the crossing of the Oder River, when the previous T-34 was destroyed. Then the crew also increased to 5 people.
In the series, from the very beginning, due to the lack of the T-34 model 1941/42, in all episodes the role of Rudy is played exclusively by the T-34-85 tank. This role was played by 3 tanks, while scenes from the interior of the vehicle were created using a tank, which is presented at the Armoured Weapons Museum in Poznań.
