Every pool owner should regularly check the most important parameter of the pool abbotage, which is the pH value (alkalinity / acidity of water). These measures are necessary to ensure good water condition in terms of hygiene. Proper pH levels of water in the pool is the most important parameter determining its quality and without it any treatments will never be correct and will certainly prove to be absolutely ineffective. To properly care for the condition of the water in the pool, we need to know and control the most important parameter, i.e. pH of water using photometric testers and Phenol Red Rapid test tablets, because it has the greatest impact on the condition of the water in the pool. Phenol Red Rapid tablets allow you to check the pH value of water quickly and accurately ensuring the measurement at the highest level. They dissolve quickly and have a long shelf life. The optimal pH value is in the range from 7,0 to 7,4, which is the same as a human tear. The right pH of water means comfort during the use of the pool and the most effective use of pool chemicals.

The set includes a total of 50 pieces (tj. 5-leaf) Phenol Red Rapid tablets for measuring the pH of pool water.

Knowing the concentration of total chlorine and free chlorine, you can easily calculate the concentration of chlorine bound:

Chlorine bound = total chlorine - free chlorine

The concentration of bound chlorine should not exceed 0,3 mg/l. Chlorine is an undesirable form of chlorine that is formed in reaction with organic pollutants. Bound chlorine causes water irritability to human skin and an unpleasant chlorine smell.
