How to clean the milk system?

1 Prepare the solution according to the manufacturer's instructions in proportions of 15 ml of the preparation for every 250 ml of water

2 Dip the milk suction hose into the solution and run the milk frothing track cleaning program in the machine.

3 Follow the instructions of the machine manufacturer.

4 In the absence of a cleaning program in the machine, in place of the milk container, set the container with the prepared solution and press the “milk” selection on the machine, then repeat the action.

5 After the process, the system should be rinsed with clean water.

For difficult to remove dirt, first soak the soiled parts in a higher concentration solution (e.g. 30 ml of the preparation per 250 ml of water), then rinse under running water. The best results are ensured by daily, regular cleaning.

How often should I clean the milk system?

According to our recommendations, cleaning should be done maximum 4 hours after the last milk coffee. Most often, we recommend that you always carry out the process at the end of the day, if a milk drink was prepared in the machine on a given day. Particular attention should be paid to the frequency of cleaning in the summer, when the risk of dairy deposits remaining in the system is increased due to the temperature.

If we do not have the opportunity or time to carry out a full cleaning of the milk system – just rinse the system with water or water with cleaning liquid by selecting frothed milk in the machine. Such cleaning will allow you to keep the milk track clean and will definitely improve the quality of coffee drinks, as well as extend the life of the machine.
