It also serves as a pepper dispenser and a container for storing your favorite types of spices. Closed thanks to a tight nut, it will retain valuable scents and aromas of the spice for a long time. Glass jars can also be purchased separately. You can easily and efficiently change your favorite types of spices and adjust their flavorful nuances to the dishes you prepare. Featuring a patented u'Select system, it makes it easy to choose the grinding degree, from the finest to the thickest.
The Maestro pepper grinder comes with Kampot black pepper. Black, organic KAMPOT pepper is a distinctive, fruity taste with a hint of fresh mint. This black pepper is grown on an organic farm with a certified fair trade status. The crop comes from the Kampot region of southwestern Cambodia, bordering the sea. Sea breeze and humid air have a significant impact on the intensity of taste and quality of grains. This area has also been designated as a Protected Geographical Indication. – Protected Geographical Indications – PGI) which emphasizes the special quality of this spice.
It is an ideal addition to red meat, fatty fish, vegetables (especially such as red cabbage, tomatoes), legumes (lentils and chickpeas), some fruits (strawberries and cherries) and chocolate-based desserts.

PEUGEOT grinders have been used in kitchens around the world for nearly 200 years, becoming an icon of French cuisine. Most of the production cycle takes place at the PEUGEOT factory in Quingey located in the Doubs department in Burgundy. Peugeot grinders use proprietary grinding mechanisms dedicated to different types of spices. Salt grinders can be used to grind coarse, sea and stone salt with granulation up to 4 mm. Pepper grinders are equipped with a special mechanism with a spiral shape of heaters, guaranteeing optimal introduction of grains and their grinding.
Setting the grinding thickness in PEUGEOT grinders can be done either by traditional smooth adjustment by tightening the knob at the top of the body, or in the case of grinders with uSelect mechanism, by choosing one of the 6 degrees of grinding thickness.
The responsible pro-ecological policy of Peugeot means that the wood used for the production of mills is PEFC certified and mostly comes from the local forests of the Franche-Comte region. Only solvent-free paints and varnishes, friendly to health and the environment, are used for painting bodies.
