There are three types of cutting knives (8mm, 10mm and 12mm) and one cutting wheel (16mm).

The cutting knife allows you to scratch on the surface of the tile a straight line along which the tile will be broken. After scratching the surface of the tile, press the handle with a certain movement so that the breaking foot breaks the tile.

The cutting knife wears out naturally and it depends on the number of exaggerated tiles. To remove the old knife, slightly unscrew, loosen (with an 8mm Allen key) the M10 Allen screw in the head that holds the knife. The knife should fall out freely and in the free place you need to slide a new cutter with the milled side to the screw, hold it and tighten the screw. Before reusing the razor, check that the blade of the cutter is parallel to the angle of the razor that marks a perfectly straight cutting line.

Cutting knives differ in the size of the diameter of the cutting blade. The larger the blade, the thicker the tile is able to cut, with its surface having to be smooth. When cutting a tile with a rough surface, it is best to use the smallest diameter of the cutting knife, because it allows it to enter smoothly over the entire rough surface.
