is characterized by exceptional quality and excellent sharpness of the entire image. Weighing just 213 g and measuring just 59,2 mm in length, the lens provides the perfect balance between mobility and excellent performance. It is the lightest and smallest 12mm AF lens available on the market today.

The lens design consists of 12 elements in ten groups with five special lenses (1 H-ASP, 1 ASP and 3 ED); three additional low dispersion elements and two aspherical elements (H-ASP and ASP) have been used in the optical design to minimize chromatic aberrations and distortion for sharper images.

UMC coating (UMC) Ultra Multi Coating) has been applied to lens elements to reduce surface reflections and prevent flare and ghosting, as well as provide better light transmission and greater contrast.

Thanks to its optical design, the lens provides excellent image quality from the centre to the edge of the frame, even at the maximum aperture of F/2.0.

The metal housing and sealed lens design allows for use even in harsh weather conditions.
