The barrel is made of HDPE plastic with a certificate allowing direct contact with food – you pickle and keep drinking water straight in it, without an intermediate bag. The green screw cap twists on the thread, the 13 cm hole allows you to conveniently insert and remove vegetables, stir sourdough and wash the barrel with your hand.
